The Africa International Agricultural Expo was held in Nairobi, Kenya, at the end of 2025. Ten enterprises, including Hunan Zhonglian Agricultural Machinery and Nongyou Group, exhibited small and medium-sized tractors suitable for the hilly and dry land in East Africa. The exhibition specially set up a dedicated exhibition area for Hunan agricultural machinery. Lightweight tractors with 25-70 horsepower became the first choice for local farmers. All 42 exhibited prototypes were sold out on site, and purchase orders worth 10.2 million yuan for tractors were reached with local dealers and large-scale farms. Hunan agricultural machinery exports to Africa have grown by over 80% for two consecutive years. Small tractors can significantly reduce manual labor hours. One device can complete the traditional family’s weekly farming workload in half a day, which is widely recognized in rural areas of Zambia and Kenya.
