According to the agricultural machinery export data from the General Administration of Customs for the first five months of 2026, a total of 85,160 tractors were exported nationwide, with an export value of 4.313 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 18.4%. The African market is the core growth area. Industry reports show that the tractor stock per 10,000 hectares of arable land in Africa is less than one-tenth of the global average. The market size of tractors in Africa is expected to reach 2.58 billion US dollars in 2026, with South Africa, Nigeria, and Kenya being the three core consumer countries. Domestic small and medium-sized tractors have seized the market with their advantages of durability, low price, and easy maintenance. Compared to European and American agricultural machinery, they have a price advantage of over 40%. A large number of African farmers have abandoned second-hand European and American equipment and turned to brand-new domestic tractors.
